Home of quality education
Inman Elementary students enjoy a well rounded school experience. Besides attending traditional classrooms, all students are exposed to daily vocal music, band, physical education, and enjoy formal art classes each week. Reading improvement programs and citizenship courses are two of the many extracurricular offerings to support the main curriculum
Our school motto "keeping a healthy balance between educating and caring" is upheld by caring persons and support staff. Available to all students is a counselor, computer instruction, special services, and extra curricular offerings. Many opportunities are available for patron and parental interaction with the elementary schools including GAP (Grandparents Actively Participating), PM Academy, and reading partners. Each grade level has two sections with the average class size of 19.
All classrooms host computers and grade appropriate software. Electronic equipment is available for classrooms and all students are scheduled for regular experience in the computer lab with a qualified instructor.
School facilities are superb and allow for expansion with a variety of educational experiences. The latest addition (1998) included the creation of four regular classrooms, a media center, computer lab, art room, vocal room, band room and modern kitchen facilities. New playgroup equipment was also provided.
