Opening of New2You Consignment Store
Christine is from Indiana and moved to this area about a year ago to be close to her daughter, granddaughter, and great-grandsons! 4 generations here today! Her mother who is 84 years young lives in Florida along with her brother and sister. She also has a son and 2 other granddaughters in Indiana!
Christine has picked up where the previous owner of the store of over 23 years left off and grateful she retained most of the staff and very excited to be a part of the exciting growth of Inman!
We are also Native Americans and the one photo is a picture of my grandchildren getting their indian names with my dad in the background in his headdress, he was Chief of The Miami Nation of Indiana of the State of Indiana before he unexpectedly passed away in 1994. Just an interesting tidbit and the picture to the left is the Tribal Spiritual Leader!
Grand Opening of Rustic Jem
2 young ladies starting another downtown Inman business Mandy Loveridge and Jessie Bullman.
Jessica - My husband Austin and I have been together since 2015. We had our daughter Emery in December 2017, and we are due November 2023 with our 2nd daughter. I was a dental assistant before becoming a stay at home. I have always had a passion for creating and crafting so I turned that into a way to make an income staying home. That's how I met Mandy in 2019 while I was making custom tumblers, she was my #1 customer.
Mandy is the social part of the business born and raised in Inman, and Jessica is the brains of the business. They cater to mom’s while keeping their prices affordable. Mandy and her husband Lance have been married for 14 years, with 2 children, Jayce & Maddox. A dog named Cesar, and yes named after the pizza place and 4 chickens. They spend their spare time at the ball field, travel with their church, and enjoy hiking.
How the name came to be the “Rustic“ the home look and the cool part “Jem” is named after their children, Jayce, Emery, and Maddox.
The Chamber and the City welcome you to the Inman Family. We want to wish them much success.

Grand Opening of T-Mobile
Grand Opening of Hope Embraced
Hope Embraced, a fully licensed adoption agency, was founded by the Executive Director, Jeanna Smith, who was a birth mom who chose adoption for her son when she was 20 years old, and she is also an adoptive mom. After graduating from college, she started working to help inform and educate prospective adoptive families and birth parents of their options of adoption and sharing her own open adoption story. She had an open adoption with her son and his family. When she adopted later, she was able to have an open adoption with the birth parents of her other children. This gives women in crisis the chance to talk to people who have been there and can understand the decision process in choosing whether adoption is right for them.
Jeanna has worked in adoptions for over 30 years. She started out in the Atlanta area doing home studies, birth parent counseling, and working with an adoption consultant, until becoming an adoption consultant herself. When moving to South Carolina in 2004, she and her husband decided to take things to another level in the field. Jeanna became a Certified Adoption Investigator and then shortly after started Hope Embraced. Her husband works with her as a professional photographer and graphic designer and now has also taken over 1000 hours of training and is a Certified Trauma Counselor. The agency also added being able to license foster families in 2022.
The Hope Embraced staff all have either personal experience in the field, or have been personally touched by adoption in some way. We have a birth mom, adoptive parents, previous single mom, child of adopted parent, and adoptee on our staff.
The Hope Embraced team will work on an individual plan with adopting families and birth parents. Hope Embraced treats every expectant/birth mom with respect and as part of a family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are different and come with a personal touch that brings another level of empathy.
At Hope Embraced, we strive to provide our clients with high-quality services personalized for their unique needs. If a mom is in a tough place and feels adoption is an option, if they are in a bad relationship and considering adoption for an added protection for them and their child, if they do not have a support system, or if they just do not feel prepared to parent the child, we are here to help. Our care team members are professional, courteous, and sensitive, and will be there to answer questions and help navigate each situation specifically with the moms and families that come to Hope Embraced.
Hope Embraced is so excited to announce getting into a new location on September 1st, 2022, in Inman, SC. We can meet in our office and/or we can travel to meet up with people if that is more convenient.
Thank you for allowing us to share about what we do and feel free to reach out anytime with questions or just to talk if you need a friend. We are happy to be in the community and of services in any way possible we can help!
