From the moment you walk into pink salon, you feel welcomed, inspired and relaxed. With its beautiful and whimsical décor along with the warm greetings from the hair artists, you immediately feel great about yourself, even before your service begins! Owner, Amanda Blackwell, said that was what she wanted to create for their clients, and she has totally achieved that and more.
Pink has been in business for over 11 years. They specialize in hair extensions, hair loss, custom coloring and blonding.
Amanda, along with Sarah-Grace, Sydney, Gracie, and Morgan are state of the art-trained artists and their expertise is superior. They truly want every one of their clients to look and feel amazing. They just love what they do!
Now a little about Pink’s owner, Amanda Blackwell. Born and raised in Inman, she and her husband Gabriel have two little girls, Sarah-Ann and Sailor. Also, two dogs, a pomerium Maltese named “peaches” and an Australian labradoodle named “Inman”. Both fur babies have quite the fitting names for this Inman family! For those of you who may remember, Amanda’s grandfather, Horace George, owned George’s market on Mill Street. Also, both of her great grandfathers were prominent barbers in Inman. Amanda’s mom, Jean George, is the owner of med spa on mill. So you see, the apple does not fall far from the tree!
A true Inmanite, Amanda loves the small hometown feel where everyone is like family, not just your neighbors or businesses owners. to quote Amanda, “Inman is a great community where everyone works together. We are small, but mighty”. Love that last part…so true…. Small but mighty!
