As you enter the shop, you’ll find a retail space full of home décor, and handcrafted items. continue to the back, and you’ll be surprised to see a bright and spacious classroom, walls lined with dixie belle paint and iron orchid designs. (iod is a line of décor molds, image transfers, paint inlays, and décor stamps created to take your DIY projects to the next level.) the space is used for DIY classes where you will learn how to pair the two lines, creating beautiful home décor projects. Once you learn how, you can purchase every item used in class so you can start creating at home on your own.

owner Susan Robinson and her husband rich moved to Inman 10 years ago from Buffalo, NY. After a 30-year career as a hairdresser, Susan started to dabble in painting and refinishing vintage furniture. The hobby quickly turned into a passion and that is how vintage restore & more came to be. After having a small store on highway 9 for two years, she quickly outgrew the space and started looking for a larger space. after renovating the 100-year-old, once former post office, 35 N. Main St is now home for Vintage Restore & More.

The store also highlights the work of her fellow artists and inmanites, Lorie Johnson and Bonnie Schissler. Lorie is the owner of crazy good jewelry, beautiful handcrafted eclectic necklaces, earrings and bracelets. bonnie of southern comfortable creations offers unique handsewn pillows, needle felting, furniture refinishing, among other upcycled creations.

The classroom is available for private parties.
